About there Founder
Biography
Reka Blackmon is native of Washington DC, she was raised in Prince George’s County. Her passion for children started at a young age, which eventually grew into her career. With over 10 years of experience working with children from the Prince George’s County School District to many other child care centers, Train Me Up was birthed. Her creativity challenged her in various areas in her career from writing plays to the décor of a classroom. Her motto is to guide, to train and to teach. These 3 areas are gifted to every child she encounters. Above a career, children are her passion.
